Remark
∙ Always allow the appliance to cool down
fi rst, before starting a new cycle.
∙ Do not leave heated or frothed milk in the
container - pour it right away.
Hint
To achieve a thicker froth, go through a cold-
frothing cycle fi rst, followed by a hot-frothing
cycle.
Making hot cocoa
∙ The appliance is also suitable for the
preparation of cocoa drinks.
∙ Proceed as described in 'Heating up milk'
(having fi rst fi tted the insert without the
coil).
∙ Turn the appliance on, take off the lid
after about 30 seconds, slowly put in the
desired amount of cocoa powder and
replace the lid.
∙ To prevent the mechanism from
becoming blocked, only milk-soluble
cocoa powder should be used.
Interrupting or ending a cycle
Press the On/Off switch repeatedly until the
indicator light goes out. The heating and
stirring process stops.
Press the On/Off switch again to continue
the heating and stirring process.

Cleaning and care
∙ Always remove the plug from the wall
socket and wait until the motor has come
to a complete standstill before cleaning
the appliance.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the base or the power cord with
water and do not immerse them.
∙ The stirring inserts, holder and lid should
be cleaned after each operating cycle in
hot water and a little detergent.
∙ The rubber ring on the holder can be
removed for cleaning in hot soapy water.
Dry thoroughly, and refi t it to the holder
before the next cycle.
∙ The milk container must not be immersed
in water or cleaned in a dishwasher. Fill
in some hot water and detergent and
wipe it clean.
∙ Wipe all parts thoroughly dry.
∙ Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning
solutions.
