5. Now hold the button ( ) for temperature mea-
surement down. A signal tone will indicate that
the measurement has started.
6. Hold the thermometer in place for a few sec-
onds until the measurement has stabilized.
If the temperature measurement is complete,
the object temperature measured will appear
on the LCD display.
Now you can release the button ( ) for tempe-
rature measurement.
If you want to immediately switch back to
standby mode, you can briefly push the
memory button (M). The thermometer will
also automatically switch back to standby
mode after approx. 1 minute of button
inactivity.
