DIRECTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY AND USE of THE WA1000B™ MOBILE FREEZER SYSTEM
1. Attach the two console units to the cart by aligning the holes in the bottom of each unit with the locating pins on the top of the
cart. Press each console down to firmly seat it in place on the cart. (The Timer/Temperature Indicator Console mounts on the
upper rear part of the cart and the General Purpose Probe Console mounts on the upper front part of the cart.) To remove the
console from the cart, simply pull straight up and the consoles will detach themselves from the cart.
2. Insert the stainless steel holder into the hole indicated on the General Purpose Probe Console.
3. To install a gas cylinder in the cart, separate the Velcro straps at the rear of the cart, place the cylinder in position (with the
hook-up valve facing out) firmly against the cart frame and tightly secure the straps. Attach the gas connector hose of the
Probe Console to the gas cylinder.
NOTE: Use only "medical grade" Nitrous Oxide in Non-Siphon Gas cylinders.
4. Connect the LL100™ Freezer to the CONSOLE RECEPTACLE. Push the connector in and secure it in place by tightening the
knurled ring of the probe connector. (Make it snug; hand tighten only.)

Once cylinder is turned "ON" this gauge should read in the 40 to 70 kg/cm
a) When turned to the "ON" position permits gas flow into the probe.
b) Freezer connects to the console by screwing the knurled freezer connector to
the receptacle.
A gas scavenger hose may be attached to this port.
Monitors:
• Time (in seconds) during which the probe tip experiences freezing temperatures.
• Temperature of the probe tip, when used with probes which have an integral
thermocouple.
You will be able to obtain a digital temperature reading from only one thermocouple at a
time.
NOTE: 4 "D" cell batteries are needed for this console. (Console will display
"Low Batteries" when batteries are in need of replacement.)
Multi-tip or fixed-tip freezer plugs into console.
Used to turn console power "ON" or "OFF."
Used for determining which of two thermocouple readings will be shown on the visual
temperature readout panel.
Readout panel for tip or tissue temperature.
The timer segment monitors the time (in seconds) during which the probe tip experiences
temperatures of –20
activated and it will emit audible beeps at 15 second intervals, thus aiding the practitioner in
determining the total freezing time. As the probe tip begins to freeze, the timer
automatically activates the digital counter, and the timer continues to run until the probe
begins a defrost mode, warming up to 0
readout holds its current value. The practitioner has the option of resetting the timer to
"zero" for a new count, or continuing the current count (cumulative) with an additional
freeze. To reset to "zero" at any time, depress the "Reset" switch once.
Compact cabinet secures and conceals gas cylinder and allows transport of unit.
