Power Sharing:
This Double Induction buffet warmer is suited to be used as a single or double zone
warming surface or as a single cooking zone auxiliary device. It is not intended, nor
suitable for high power cooking simultaneously on two cooking zones at once. In
order to clarify any misconceptions about the functionality of this product we will
next describe in the following section how the unit operates from a power sharing
perspective.
This unit operates with a Power Sharing System. This means that the two cooking
zones share the maximum 1800 W power available to them. The practical consequence
of this system is that the power levels on the two sides cannot go above power level
6 when being used simultaneously.
If you are cooking on power level 3, for example, on the left side, you will only be able
to use power levels 1, 2 and 3 on the right side. If you increase the power above level
3 on the right side, it will automatically reduce the power level on the left side, and
vice versa.
At any given moment, the sum of the number indicated on the left side and the number
indicated on the right side cannot be higher than 6.
The possible combinations of MAXIMUM cooking levels are as follows:
