Troubleshooting by yourself

Problem
Appliance cannot
be switched on.
Appliance cannot
be charged.
The appliance
hardly picks up
any dust.
Operating dura-
tion is becoming
progressively
shorter.
LED flashes red.

ance has switched

The appliance is

Whistling noises

the article numbers 8833048 (red brush), 4193048 (grey brush) and 4194048 (microfibre brush) on
the internet at http://shop.severin.com from the "Service/Spare Parts Shop" menu or from our
customer service department.
Possible cause / solution
The rechargeable battery is completely discharged. Switch off the appliance
and charge rechargeable battery (chapter "Charging the rechargeable
battery").
The mains adapter is not plugged in correctly. Check whether the mains
adapter plug or the connector is securely connected in its sockets (chapter
"Charging the rechargeable battery").
The dirty water tank will need to be emptied (chapter "Emptying and clean-
ing the dirty water tank").
The front rubber lip seal on the brush cover is soiled. Wipe the rubber lip seal
clean with a cloth.
It is possible that dirt is preventing the brush from rotating freely. Clean the
brush (chapter "Cleaning the brushes and brush cover").
The rechargeable battery is low. Switch off the appliance and charge re-
chargeable battery (chapter "Charging the rechargeable battery").
The brush is blocked. Make sure that the appliance is switched off and is not
on charge. Remove the blockage.

The fresh water tank is too full or soiled. Clean the fresh water tank and do
