9. To interrupt the cycle at any stage, to cancel the program or the KEEP
WARM function press and hold down the REHEAT/CANCEL button.
To achieve better cooking results, we recommend consulting the Cookbook
provided. Each of the 100 recipes has been adjusted for this particular model.
If you did not manage to achieve the desired results using the automatic
programs, we recommend you use the versatile program MULTICOOK,
featuring wide time and temperature adjustments. This program gives
endless opportunities for new culinary experiments.
MULTICOOK Program
You can use the program to cook any dish with your personal time and tem-
perature settings. REDMOND RMC-M90A, featuring the MULTICOOK program
can replace a large number of kitchen appliances. Now any recipe, either from
your family cookbook or the Internet, can be adjusted for your multicooker.
For your convenience, the device does not switch to KEEP WARM auto-
matically at the end of a program if the temperature is less than 175°F
(80°C). It may be manually reactivated by pressing and holding down the
MENU / KEEP WARM button right after the program starts. The REHEAT/
CANCEL button indicator lights up.
• Default temperature is 212°F (100°C), default time is 15 minutes.
• You can manually set 28 temperature adjustments from 95°F (35°C)
to 340°F (170°C) by using the TEMPERATURE button.
• Cook time can be adjusted from 2 minutes to 15 hours in 1 minute
intervals (for a period of 2 minutes up to 1 hour) and 5 minute inter-
vals (for a period of 1 hour up to 15 hours).
Various dishes can be prepared with the help of MULTICOOK. Follow the
recommendations of our chefs given in the recipe book and the MULTICOOK
Temperature Adjustment Recommendations in the back of the Manual
OATMEAL Program
The program is recommended for cooking oatmeal, different porridges
with milk. Default time is 10 minutes. It can be adjusted from 5 minutes
to 1 hour 30 minutes in 1 minute intervals
Use pasteurized low fat milk to cook. For best results and in order to prevent milk
from boiling away, we recommend you to do the following:
• rinse grain thoroughly before cooking
• grease the sides of the bowl with butter
• follow the proportions suggested in the recipe book. Increase or
reduce the amount of ingredients proportionately
• using whole milk dilute it by half with water
The results may vary depending on the quality, manufacturer, and place
of origin of the products used.
If you did not manage to achieve the desired result, please consult the
chapter "Helpful Tips" to receive necessary recommendations on cooking
or use the versatile program MULTICOOK. The optimal temperature set
is of 200°F (95°C). Follow the proportions and the time settings given in
the recipe.
STEW/CHILI Program
The program is recommended for stewing meat, poultry, vegetables, and
seafood. Make meat, vegetarian, poultry chili. Default time is 1 hour. It can
be adjusted from 20 minutes to 12 hours in 5 minute intervals.
SAUTE Program
The program is recommended for sauteing meat, fish, poultry, vegetables,
and seafood. Default time is 15 minutes. It can be adjusted from 5 minutes
to 1 hour 30 minutes in 1 minute intervals. The TIME DELAY function is
not applicable for the program.
To prevent food from burning follow instructions given in the recipe book
and stir the ingredients thoroughly while sauteing.
SOUP Program
The program is recommended for cooking different types of soup, broth,
making fruit and berry drinks. Default time is 1 hour. It can be adjusted
from 20 minutes to 8 hours in 5 minute intervals.
BOIL/STEAM Program
The program is recommended for boiling different food or you can use it
for steaming meat, fish, vegetables. Default time is 15 minutes. It can be
adjusted from 5 minutes to 2 hours with 5 minute intervals. Use the steam
tray provided.
1. Fill the bowl with 2 ½ – 4 cups (600–1000 ml) of water. Place the
steam tray inside the bowl.
