Installation
The TM 558 must be installed between the high-pressure pump and the pressure
Rail of the Common Rail system of the vehicle. Each system has a place in the
high-pressure pump and connections between pump and Rail. Find the best
disconnection point and install the TM 558. This must be accomplished with the
use of high-pressure tubes and adapting nipples. Connect also the bottle for the
diesel eliminated by the relief valve, by using the low pressure hose. Always
install the gauge with its valve open, which allows for the passage of Diesel when
the engine is started.
Disconnection
In order to disconnect the TM 558 from the system, be sure that the engine of the
vehicle is off and that there is no residual pressure in the line. TM 588 pressure
must read zero in order to begin disconnection. Always disconnect the TM 558
with valve open in order to avoid residual pressure in the line.
After the use, clean up Gauge and accessories with a dry piece of cloth and
return it to the suitcase.
