immediately switch off the device, disconnect it from the
power supply and contact a service company�
- Care must be taken that the device is installed on a level,
non-slip and heat-resistant base� The surface should be
easy to clean as splashes cannot always be avoided�
- The device should only be placed on a stable and fire proof
base� Care must be taken that there is a clearance around
the cooktop of at least 3�94 inches (10 cm) to other objects
or walls to ensure unobstructed ventilation� Do not use a
soft support, otherwise the fan at the bottom of the device
could be blocked�
- Do not operate the device on a base made of metal�
- To avoid heat accumulation, the device must not be placed
directly next to a wall or under a hanging wall cabinet or in
a similar location� Do not cover the device during operation�
Ensure sufficient open space and a safety distance to all
easily melting and flammable objects� Fire hazard!
- High temperatures occur when operating electrical heating
devices that may cause injuries, e�g� the housing, glass
surface, etc� can become very hot� Never touch the hot
surfaces with bare hands! You must also point out the
hazards to other users� Risk of injury!
- The glass surface remains very hot even after using the
device, you must therefore not touch the glass surface�

- Do not move the device to another location as long as it is
hot or as long as hot objects, dishes or liquids are placed
on it� Risk of burns!
- Persons with pacemakers or other electronic implants must
see their attending specialist physician before putting the
device into operation to find out if the induction cooktop is
compatible with the implant�
