Basic preparations
First, remove any potential staining from the glass surface and the
respective bottom of the pot before use and do not put any cloths,
aluminum foil or other objects between the bottom of the pot and the
glass surface
NOTICE!
Never place empty pots or pans on the glass surface when
it is ready for operation. The extreme heat generated may
potentially damage the respective cooking pot and the
enamel might flake off! In addition, the overheating
protection of the device might be triggered and switch off
the device. In this case, let the device cool down to room
temperature. It can subsequently put back into operation.
• Place the device in the vicinity of a power outlet (with a outlet voltage according
to type plate) and ensure free access to the outlet
• Ensure a level and dry as well as non-slip and heat-resistant standing surface The
surface should be easy to clean as splashes cannot always be avoided
Device operation
The induction cooktop detects when it is put in operation without
cookware or if the cookware is removed during operation In this case,
an acoustic signal is emitted repeatedly and the display shows an error
message "E0" and the device switches off after approx 60 seconds
Note: Please note that the individual controls on the control surface do not react to
being briefly touched for safety reasons (for children) You should therefore not just
briefly touch the individual controls with your finger tip, it should be touched over a
larger space with the inside of your upper digit An acoustic signal will indicate that
the device has reacted
