Read the user and maintenance manual
carefully before using this machine.
Personal protection equipment must be worn while using
this machine.
1-These instructions must be read and fully understood before
operating the machine. Respect all of the warnings and safety
instructions described herein. Keep this manual for future
reference.
2-Only use original spare parts: spare parts produced by
other manufacturers may not be suitable for the machine
and could cause personal injury.
3-Wear suitable clothing and personal safety equipment, such
as: boots, resistant pants, gloves, protective visor or goggles,
hearing protection and helmet.
4-Do not wear loose or unbuttoned clothing while operating
the machine.
5-Do not allow other people, children or animals within 15 m
of the operating zone while using the bush cutter.
6-Never use this machine when tired, sick or under the effects
of alcohol, drugs or pharmaceuticals.
7-Do not allow children to use this machine.
8-Stand in a solid and balanced manner when using the
machine.
9-Only use this machine to perform tasks of the typologies
which are indicated within this manual.
10-nspect the machine before each use. Check that the
acceleration lever functions properly. Make sure that there
are no fuel leaks and that the machine's safety devices are
not loose, etc. Replace any damaged parts.
11-Only start the machine in well-ventilated areas: if inhaled,
the exhaust fumes could cause fatal asphyxiation.
12-Only transport the machine while the motor is off.
13-Never perform maintenance operations while the motor is
running.
14-Once the motor has been shut off, make sure that the
cutting unit has come to a complete stop before resting the
machine on the ground.
15-Shut off the motor and allow it to cool before refuelling.

and refrain from smoking during refuelling or fuel mixing
operations.
16-Do not remove the fuel tank's cap while the motor is running.
17-If any fuel should spill upon the machine, be sure to clean
and dry it carefully. Move the machine at least 3 metres from
the refuelling area before starting the motor.
18-Never use fuel for performing cleaning operations upon
the machine.
19-Never check the spark plug's functionality near the spark
plug's lodging.
20-Do not operate the machine if the muffler is damaged.
21-Clear all foreign objects from the operating area before
using the machine: This includes rocks, pieces of glass,
metal wire or cord, etc. These objects could be thrown by, or
caught within the cutting mechanism.
22-Allow the motor to cool and empty the fuel tank before
storing the machine.
23-Store the machine off the ground and far away from sources
of heat, in such a way so as to avoid any accidental injuries
caused by sharp objects.
24-Do not start the motor without the transmission lever
installed.
25-Make sure that the attachment has been installed and
tightened properly.
26-Wear gloves whenever handling the machine or performing
maintenance operations
27-The attachment should not function while the motor is
idling. If this is not the case, adjust the idle screw.
28-The attachments employed must be original IBEA
products or else must be expressly approved for use with
the model in question.
29-In order to prevent personal injury, always shut off the
motor before removing any object which has become caught
in the attachment.
