All quality tools will eventually require servicing and/or replacement of parts. All
repairs made by our service centers are fully guaranteed against defective material
and workmanship. We cannot guarantee repairs made or attempted by others.
This section provides a list of the more frequently encountered malfunctions,
their causes and corrective actions. The operator or maintenance personnel can
perform some corrective actions, and others may require the assistance of a
qualified PORTER CABLE technician or your dealer.

pOSSIBLE SOLUTION
Turn to ON position
Adjust choke accordingly
Open fuel shut-off valve
Remove load from unit
Contact a Customer Care Center.
Depress and reset
Contact a Customer Care Center.
Repair or replace cord
Reduce load
Check for damaged, bare or frayed
wires on equipment. Replace.
Move to adequate supply of fresh air

Drain fuel tank and replace with fresh,
clean, regular unleaded gasoline
with a minimum of 86 octane
