turned off automatically, turn the Main switch
OFF and ON again to operate the tool.
8. For proper tightness
8-1 (Fig.23) Tilt the tool 45° angle to the crossed
rebars.
8-2 (Fig.29) Apply the tool perpendicularly to the
surface of the crossed rebars.
During tool operation
Do not move the tool during tying operation until
the tool stops tying automatically.
9. Storing in Carrying case
Set the handle in the position shown by Fig.34
when storing the tool in the Carrying case.
9-1 Set the Main switch at "OFF" and remove the
battery pack from the Handle base.
9-2 (Fig.35) Release the Latches and open the
Handle cover.
CAUTION
When releasing the Latches, be careful that
your fingers do not get caught.
9-3 Pull the Latches forward and align with the
grooves.
NOTICE
Confirm that the Latches on both sides are
fastened. If the Latches are not fastened, the
handle may come off, leading to breakage or
injury.
9-4 (Fig.34) Confirm that the Latch is firmly in the
groove, close the cover, and fasten the
Latch.

9-5 Confirm that the handles are firmly secured.
9-6 Store in the carrying case.
10. Attachment
The role of the attachment is to protect the guide
and arm when inserting the tool into rebar.
Working without the attachment installed may
lead to breakdown or injury. Always work with
the attachment installed. If the tip hits the floor
with Attachment L (Fig.36.v-1) installed and
tying cannot be done, install Attachment S
(Fig.36.v-2).
When installing
10-1 Set the Main switch at "OFF" and remove
the battery pack from the Handle base.
10-2 (Fig.36) Insert the Attachment (v) into the
end of the arm (A).
10-3 Align the attachment and arm hole, and
then secure with a bolt.
Tightening torque: 11.1 lbf•in (1.25 N•m)
(125 cN•m). (Fig.36)
CAUTION
If installation and bolt tightening are not
complete, the attachment may come off
during use.
When removing
10-4 Set the Main switch at "OFF" and remove
the battery pack from the Handle base.
10-5 (Fig.37) Remove the bolt securing the
attachment and pull the attachment forward
to remove it.
12.STORAGE AND
MAINTENANCE
Do not store the tool in a cold weather
environment. Keep the tool in a warm area.
When not in use, the tool should be stored in a
warm and dry place. Keep out of reach of
children.
