Installing the Illumination

Note:
Avoid touching the halogen bulbs with your fingers. Use a clean cloth or
cloth gloves when inserting the bulbs.
1. Insert a bulb of the type G9, 60W into the socket on the motor housing 0.
2. Place the illumination cover 7 on the motor housing 0 then turn it
clockwise until it is firmly seated.

Installing the Blades

1. Firmly screw the blades with the 2 screws with washers, which are screwed
into the blade mounts q, onto the motor housing 0 (see Fig.).

2. Slowly turn the fan for a few complete turns in order to check that the
blades are correctly installed. If the rotation is not smooth and easy,
check the screw attachment of the blades.

Hanging the Fan

Danger:
You must make certain that the electrical connection wire is not under
power. Otherwise, there is the great risk of receiving an electric shock!
Warning:
The room ceiling and the screw connection must be capable of bearing
a weight of at least 28 kg.
Use 6 x 50 mm screws with 8 mm plugs.
Use an 8 mm drill to bore the holes for the plugs.
For fastening to subceilings (e.g. Rigips), use special cavity plugs. Alternatively,
determine whether the installation plate e can be fastened to the lower
structure of the subceiling (wooden beam or girder) which is capable of
bearing more weight, if so, use wood screws.
1. Fix the installation plate e to the ceiling with 2 screws and, if necessary,
the plugs.
Test the bearing capacity of the screw connection.

2. Hang the fan in the installation plate e, making sure that the mounting
lines up properly with the notch (see Fig., circle).
3. Effecting the electrical connection.
DANGER :
The electrical connection may only be performed by a qualified electrician!
Failure to follow these instructions presents a life-threatening risk of electric
shock!
