Maintenance
WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments of the mechanical parts of the equipment, wear
protective shoes, gloves and goggles.
•
Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual
qualifications.
•
Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a service mechanic.
•
Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
•
Only service mechanics are authorised to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when maintenance is
to be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety devices shall be acti-
vated as soon as the maintenance operations have been completed.
•
Before any maintenance operations or mechanical adjustments are carried out, switch the tool off.
•
All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at an Authorised Service Point of the
Manufacturer.
•
When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorised by the
•
service mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
-
work has been completed;
-
the machine runs in a trouble-free way;
-
the safety devices are activated;
-
no one is working on the machine.
3.1
Product identification
The identification details of the tool are shown on the sticker of the battery and of the
CE declaration of conformity attached to the manual.
3.2
Product description
The power unit has been designed in order to power-supply some of the Manufacturer's electro-mechanical tools. The tool
compatibility with the battery has to be checked in the power-supply details inside the corresponding manuals.
The unit is based on a battery set (2), a back-pack (3) and a connecting cable (1).
The power-supply unit is fitted with batteries with Lithium cells (2). An electronic card in the battery checks the charging and
discharging steps to improve performance and quality.
The battery is inside a box (picture A) and is hooked to a backpack (3) which is fitted with braces and worn by the operator.
NOTE!
The best performance in terms of battery autonomy is reached after a few recharging cycles.

3.4
Recommended use
The unit was designed for pruning according to the manners and limits previously described.
WARNING!
•
Any other use has to be considered improper and potentially dangerous for the operators' safety. This would
make any warranty claims void.
•
If it is not used for the purposes it was designed for, the unit may cause serious injuries to personnel and
bystanders and damages to equipment and things.
