oven on the low rack and cover with foil. Pour water or broth into the bottom
of the glass bowl using ½ cup of liquid for every pound of food. Cook at 350°.
You can also steam vegetables at the same time as you cook the main dish by
putting them in an aluminum foil pouch; add a few drops of water and seal the
pouch.
Hints
•
Use the extender ring for bigger foods or to cook more than one food at a
time. This is so the food doesn't touch the heating element and for proper
circulation.
•
The oven has a 60-minute timer. The power indicator light below the control
knobs will turn on and remain on whenever the time is in use. PLEASE NOTE:
The oven will not heat up unless the timer is on.
•
Avoid stacking food to cook more food. If air cannot circulate around the food,
you will only fully cook the top. Always leaves spaces for air to travel and
always use the high rack and perforated oven-safe baking dish when
necessary.
•
After food is cooked, turn down thermostat to maintain crispness.
•
A meat thermometer can be used to easily determine the extent of cooking.
