Part 1
Removal and Cleaning of the Brushes
Very important to carry out daily care of your machine.
performance of your machine will double. It is important to wear proper protective wear when cleaning out the
machine. (Rubber gloves, mask and eyewear)
Step 1:
Remove the brushes from the machine. Once you have the brushes removed, it will be time to
grab your shop vacuum and proceed to vacuum the brushes in order to remove debris and pet hair.
Step 2:
now that you have finished the vacuum of the brushes, it is time to grab a 7-gallon pail. Make sure
you fill your pail up with hot water. Place your brushes in the pail and let them sit for 1 hour. The time may
vary depending on how soiled your brushes are. Make sure you check your local regulations on where to
dispose of the dirty water when complete.
Step 3:
After they have soaked, remove the brushes from the pail of water and place them in a different
7-gallon pail with clean water. Add a couple ounces of disinfectant and let the brushes sit for 1 hour.
Step 4:
After the 1 hour has passed, remove the brushes from the pail and stand them on end to allow
them to dry. Dry times may vary depending on color of brush and temperature/humidity.
Part 2
Cleaning of the Undercarriage / Brush Cover
It is important to wear proper protective wear when cleaning out the machine. (Rubber gloves, mask and
eyewear)
Step 1:
With your rubber gloves on your hands, remove as much as the loose debris possible with a shop
towel/rag and/or vacuum it out.
Step 2:
Use a disinfectant spray or wipe to clean out and remove the remaining debris from the
undercarriage of the machine.
Part 3
Cleaning the Axle Rod Entry Holes
It is important to wear proper protective wear when cleaning out the machine. (Rubber gloves, mask and
eyewear)
Step 1:
Lightly spray with a disinfectant and use a hand brush to remove the debris that is embedded or
stuck in the axle rod areas.
Step 2:
Wipe machine clean, dispose of dirt and debris properly.
Part 4
Cleaning the Outside of Your Machine
It is important to wear proper protective wear when cleaning out the machine. (Rubber gloves, mask and
eyewear)
Step 1:
Use a disinfectant of your choice that can be used on stainless steel. Wipe and clean the outside
of the machine.
IMPORTANT!
After every job, you need to change out the brushes in order to not drag in pet hair, dirt and/or debris into the new
clean from the previous job.
Additional Maintenance Tips
Insert some white lithium grease between the bearing and the cover and the bearing shaft entrance.
Make it a habit to remove the bearing cover every month to clean it up well with W-40 and make sure to
dry it with compressed air and fit the cover together again.
Every 3 months, remove the gear cover, clean them in the same fashion and re-grease with white lithium
grease.
