CUTTERHEAD LOCK
Assemble cutterhead lock (A) Fig. 15 to the front side of the jointer base, using the M6x1x12mm button head screw
(B).
NOTE: THE CUTTERHEAD LOCK (A) IS TO BE ENGAGED WITH THE CUTTERHEAD SHAFT (FIG. 15) ONLY
WHEN SETTING KNIVES. ALL OTHER TIMES, THE CUTTERHEAD LOCK (A) SHOULD BE DISENGAGED FROM THE
CUTTERHEAD (FIG. 16).

FASTENING JOINTER TO SUPPORTING SURFACE
If during operation, there is any tendency for the jointer
to tip over, slide or "walk" on the supporting surface,
the jointer must be secured to the supporting surface.
Four holes (two of which are shown at (A) Fig. 20), are
provided for this purpose.
