Installation instructions:
1.)
Dismantle the rear bumber and the bumper reinforcement.
Remove the left and right wheel housing covering. Remove the stoppers at "e" on the left and right
external sides of the longitudinal beam.
2.)
Cut out the X and Y templates and fold them by 90° at the lines marked W. Externally attach the X
template onto the left longitudinal beam and the Y template onto the right longitudinal beam. Cover
the bore holes at "a", attach the folded shackles to the bottom of the longitudinal beam and
mark/punch the bore holes at "b" on the longitudinal beam. Remove the templates and externally
drill/deburr the marked bore holes with ø13 mm at "b" on the left and right side of the longitudinal
beam.
3.)
Through the rear openings, push shackle 5 into the left longitudinal beam and shackle 6 into the
right longitudinal beam. Now loosely screw the shackles at "e" with the M10x40 screws and the
10.5x34x4 washers.
4.)
Loosely attach part 3 on the left side and part 4 on the right side to the longitudinal beam at "a" and
"b" with the M10x40 screws and 10.5x25x3 washers via the shackles 5 and 6.
5.)
Place part 1 between parts 3 and 4 and screw it on loosely at "c" with the M10x40 screws, the
10.5x25x3 washers and the M10 nuts. Now loosely screw the side parts onto part 1 at "d" with the
M10x40 screws and the 10.5x25x3 washers.
6.)
Align the towed-vehicle assembly and tighten all screws and nuts.

Attach the electrical system.
8.)
Replace the wheel housing covering and attach the bumper reinforcement to the vehicle.
Cut out the lower middle section of the bumper using the enclosed template Z. The line "YO"
corresponds to the center of the vehicle. Now attach the bumper to the vehicle.
9.)
Push the ball bar 2 between the plates at "f" and loosely screw with the screws M12x75, the
washers 13x24x2.5 and the nuts M12.
Torque:
