Please read these instructions carefully. The instructions are an integral
component of the product. Therefore, please store them and the
packaging carefully in case questions arise in the future. Please always
include these instructions when handing on the product to a third party.
This product must be mounted by a qualified individual. This product
is designed for private/domestic use only. This product is not designed
for commercial/industrial use. The use of the product requires certain
capabilities and skills. Only use the product in accordance with the age-
appropriate recommendation and use it only under the supervision of an
adult.

ces are not required.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• WARNING! Use this insert only if your child is already able to sit upright
without any support and can return to this position and another posi-
tion on his/her own without assistance. In case of doubt, please first
contact a pediatrician.
• WARNING! Use the insert only if it can be mounted to an existing board
swing set in the manner described in the set-up manual. If it is not
possible to completely comply with the mounting instructions descri-
bed in the manual, the insert must not be used! Do not use the insert
alone without a swing seat as a swing!
• WARNING! Only for domestic use.
• WARNING! The child must be supervised and observed at all times
while using the insert.
• WARNING! Do not allow children whose body weight exceeds 12 kg
(as a rule this means children who are older than about 2.5 years) to
use the insert. The insert is not is not sturdy enough to withstand more
weight!
• WARNING! This product is not a toy. It must be mounted by a qualified
individual.
• The insert has two different mounting options for hip belts. If the swing
set is equipped with chains, mount it only with the carabiners. If the
swing set is equipped with ropes, always use the carabiners and
8-shaped hooks in combination with each other.
• Before each use, check the position of the carabiner and the 8-shaped
hook. The load on the carabiner must be straight, pulling towards the
back and must be screwed into position and tightened to the stop.
The carabiner must never be used open. If in use, the 8-shaped hook
must be secured by the locking hook. Prior to use, make sure that the
8-shaped hook is firmly in place and cannot slide. When under tension
and load, it must not slide or loosen.
• It is absolutely essential that the insert is used only if there is some
tension between the belt straps and the seat of the swing you are
using. Never use the product while the belt straps are loose.
• Place the hip belt securely on the child before every use. Make sure it
is tight and locked and not too loose. Make sure that the child is in a
proper and secure position the entire time the insert is in use. Danger
of falling!
• Use the insert only if the backrest is intact and the connections are lo-
cked (rear hook and loop fastener, safety belts and belt straps). Danger
of falling!
• Use the swing set only for brief time intervals. Especially while children
are still developing, it is highly important to make sure they do not re-
main in the same position for extended periods of time. The maximum
usage time should not exceed 20 minutes per session.
• Modifications to the original product must only be performed in com-
pliance with the manufacturer's instructions.
• While the swing set is in use, make sure nobody enters the swing's
movement range.
• Make sure you install the insert in such a manner that the child is not
blinded by the rays of the sun while swinging.
• Exercise caution! Do not push the seat of the swing too hard since this
could have an adverse impact on the child's sense of balance.
• The hanging connections must be installed in such a manner that it is
impossible to accidentally sever them.
• It is the owner of the insert's and the supervising individuals' responsi-
bility to make certain that all users comply with the instructions in the
user manual.
• Make absolutely certain that the swinging zone is not obstructed by
any objects (such as trees, walls, laundry drying lines).
• If the material is exposed to constant UV light radiation, it will age a
lot sooner. To prevent premature aging and to extend the life of the
product, you should always store it in a dry and dark place. To protect
the integrity of all components, do not expose the product to wind,
moisture, extreme temperatures or sunlight for any extended periods
of time.
INSTRUCTIONS ON ASSEMBLY
Under adult supervision, the insert allows toddlers to use conventional
board swings, which they could not swing on without the insert. The insert
may be flexibly mounted and removed from a board swing attached to
swing sets with chains (with an chain link interior diameter of at least 6
mm) or ropes (with a diameter of up to 11 mm).
The insert folds up and that's how it is sold, packaged into its carrying
case. Remove the insert from of the carrying case and open the hook
and loop fastener on the back rest. Pull the now open frame towards to
the top in the direction of the back rest and tighten up the hook and loop
fastener so that it reaches around the entire frame (Fig. 1). You are now
ready to mount the insert.
