In order to ensure hazard-free operation, the recirculation air filter system for hazar-
dous substances must be serviced at least once per year and its functions checked by
an authorised specialist. During this service the tandem active charcoal filter must be
replaced; otherwise if filter saturation occurs it must be replaced within 14 days.

6. POTENTIAL-FREE CONTACT

You can use the potential-free switching contact by using the three-pin plug provi-
ded. Only the two outer pins of the plug are connected! An opening contact is swit-
ched internally (open) as soon as the filter attachment for hazardous substances has
achieved the stipulated volume flow. If a fault occurs this contact closes. This means
that it can indicate when there is interference to the exhaust air flow or the filter is
saturated. It can also indicate that your filter attachment for hazardous substances is
not connected to the mains supply.

The potential-free switching contact must not be used for switching
large loads.
It is only intended to indicate a malfunction in the filter attachment for
hazardous substances by giving an optical or acoustic warning!
Filter is saturated, the tandem filter retains the vapours
and gases; the filter must be replaced within 14 days.
Filter must be replaced immediately.
