MEASUREMENT IN THE EAR

Take the temperature a total of three times from the same ear. If the results differ,
take the highest temperature value.

Clean the device after every use in order to prevent any reinfection or infection of
other persons.

The temperature of a healthy person may differ by 0.2 - 1.0°C
/ 0.4 - 1.8°F between the temple and the ear.

The person who is having their temperature taken should avoid any fluctuating
ambient temperatures for at least 5 minutes before the measurement. Also avoid

any strenuous physical activity or taking a bath for at least 30 minutes before the
measurement.
