Explanation of the controls

Proceedasfollowstopreparethecameraforthere-
quireduse:
1.  P laceyourDTC500onaflatsurface.
2.  P ushupthelock(5)ontherightofthecamerabody.
3. F oldthelock(5)overontherighthandside.
4. O penthefrontofthecameratotheleft.
Onthelefthandsideoftheopenedcamerabodyyouwill
seethecontrols(11,12,15)andontherighthandside
youwillseethebatterycompartment(16).
Ontheouteredgeofthelefthandcamerabodyyou
willnowseetheslotforthememorycard(10).Inthe
uppersectionoftheinnersurfacethereisa2.5"LCD
display(1).
Beneaththisdisplayyouwillseethefourarrowkeys
forthemenuoperation(11).Thesearrowkeyssurround
theOKbuttonthatisusedtoconfirmtheselectedmenu
settingsandthereisanotheroval-shapedbuttonon
theupperrightforfurtherswitchingoptions(15).On
thebottomleftisthemainswitchwiththreeswitching
