4. Troubleshooting guide

Problem
System is beeping
1 long
3 short repeating
3 beeps at unlock
5 beeps
5 beeps
False alarm
14 VSS1
Possible causes
1 door/boot is open.
Bonnet is open.
Alarm went off while system was
armed.
Interior movement sensors broken.
Wire harness connection problem/
Siren failure.
Intrusion sensors are broken,
detached, or incorrectly orientated.
Passive arming ON.
Opened window / sliding roof.
Hanging clothes/ dangling
accessories.
People/animals inside.
Defective door / bonnet / boot
switch.
Possible solutions
Check that all doors are correctly
closed.
Check that bonnet is correctly
closed.
Contact authorised retailer to find
cause.
Check and/or change interior
movement sensors.
Contact authorised retailer to find
cause.
Check and contact authorized
retailer.
Read the passive arming chapter.
Deactivate passive arming (not
applicable for Belgium).
Close all windows and sliding roof.
If you wish to keep any open,
deactivate the interior movement
sensors (see chapter 1.5).
Remove them.
Deactivate the Interior movement
sensors (see chapter 1.5).
Contact authorized retailer.
