Appliance probe
The.probe.of.your.hot-wire.anemometer.is.a.precise.
measuring.component.and.is.very.sensitive.to.dama-
ge . . Therefore.always.protect.the.probe.after.comple-
tion.of.the.measuring.procedure.by.sliding.the.cover.
upwards . . This. precautionary. measure. also. guaran-
tees.a.respectable.measurement.if.you.want.to.begin.
a.new.measuring.procedure.and.have.to.set.the.zero . .
The.telescopic.probe.can.be.extended.to.a.length.of.
approx . . 1.m . . You.can.therefore.set.the.desired.length.
as.described.in.item.6 .
.
m
If you wish to make the probe smaller again,
do not do this by pushing the telescopic rod
together, but by pulling on the probe cable di-
rectly underneath the probe grip, where the
sensor cable is fed out, and in this way collap-
sing the probe like a telescope. Otherwise, the
telescopic probe cannot be collapsed properly
or the sensor cable may be destroyed when
doing so.
