Avoid cutting nail fasteners and staples when operating with saw
blades for wood. INSPECT the piece carefully and REMOVE all nails and
staples before the operation;

MAKE SURE sure that the blade always extends beyond the base of
the support and the material to be cut during all the stroke.The Blades can
break if they reach the part or base;

DO NOT CUT a part of big dimensions and thicknesses;

CHECK if there is adequate clearance beyond the material to be cut, so
that the Blade does not touch on the fl oor or in the bench, etc.;
9.
ENSURE that the Blade is not in contact with the material to be cut
before starting the machine;
10. KEEP the Reciprocating Saw Blades clean and sharpened.USE only
the correct Blades. ALWAYS USE Reciprocating Saw Blades of Starrett for
each type of material as specifi cations in the respective packaging;
11. DO NOT LEAVE the machine running.OPERATE it only when hold fi rmly
with both hands. ALWAYS KEEP unlocked the Trigger Switch. WAIT machine
to stop completely before removing the blade of the part;
12. KEEP the handle of machine: clean and free of oil and grease. ALWAYS
USE a clean cloth for cleaning.DO NOT use solvents, brake fl uids, gasoline
or other petroleum products to clean the power tool, as these may damage
the plastic parts;
