3. Intended use

The blood pressure monitor with ECG function is used to carry out non-invasive measurement
and monitoring of the arterial blood pressure values in adults and to calculate the heart rhythm.
This allows you to quickly and easily measure your blood pressure, save the measured values and
display the development and average values of the measured values taken. The recorded values
are classified and evaluated graphically.
The ECG is used to calculate the heart rhythm. The device provides information about your average
pulse value as well as any divergence from a normal ECG.
The BM 93 blood pressure monitor with ECG function provides the following functions:
• Integration of blood pressure measurement and ECG measurement into a single device.
• Measurement of systolic and diastolic pressure.
• Practical ECG measurement with integrated ECG-electrodes.
• ECG recording of 30 seconds.
• Transfer of the data via Bluetooth

4. Warnings and safety notes

of day.
• Do not take a measurement within 30 minutes of eating, drinking, smoking or exercising.
• Before the initial blood pressure measurement, make sure always to rest for about 5 minutes.
