• It must be ensured that trained and instructed per-
sonnel monitor and ensure the correct use of the
device when used in schools, training facilities,
hobby and self-help workshops.
• Do not switch the device on immediately after it has
been brought from a cold room into a warm room.

your device. Allow the device to adapt to room tem-
perature before powering up
• Do not leave any packing material lying around. All
packaging material must be disposed of immediately
as it can pose a serious health hazard to children.
APPLICATIONS
• The mini-videoscope is excellently-suited for ins-
pecting concealed machine parts or remote or hard-
to-reach cavities which would normally be extremely
difficult or virtually impossible to inspect (vehicles,
heavy-duty machines, cavities in installation area etc.).
• The swan-neck probe can be completely immersed in
water together with the camera head in order to carry
out inspections on objects which are below the surface
of the water (e.g. when carrying out drainage work).
Cleaning and Maintenance
• Maintenance work on the mini-videoscope may only
be carried out by trained personnel. You may not carry
out any work on the device other than the tasks which
are explicitly described in the operating instructions.
• Clean the device as and when necessary. Rinse the
swan-neck probe and the camera with clear water.
Clean the hand-held unit and the LCD monitor with
a moist cloth only. Do not use any household clea-
ning agents or other chemical detergents!

Do not use the mini-videoscope either on or near
live electrical components. You are in danger of
electrocuting yourself if the endoscope probe
comes into contact with such live components!
It is therefore necessary that you first check the
operating conditions and the operating environ-
ment before you use the device!

02. INtrODuctION
The mini-videoscope is equipped with a high-resoluti-
on 3-inch (7.5 cm) display and a resolution of 960 (W)
x 240 (H). The innovative H.264 Video Codec techno-
logy provides crisp, clear and conclusive images and
the waterproof swan-neck probe is excellently-suited
for reaching barely accessible or remote, concealed
places both easily and efficiently.
