Product Description

The milling machine is available as four-
axis model (4X) and as five-axis model
(5X). These Operating Instructions apply
for both models.
3.1 Blank holder for glass ceramic
blanks, threefold
The blank holder for ceramic blanks is a blank
holder for 4X and 5X milling machines. It is used to
accommodate up to three glass ceramic blanks
and the respective grinding tools.
A blank holder each is available for the 5X and 4X
milling machine.

Multi-block holder, twelvefold

The multi-block holder is a blank holder for 5X
milling machines. It is used to accommodate up to
12 glass ceramic blanks and the respective grind-
ing tools.

Application

4.1 Loading the blank holder for glass
ceramic blanks
The blank holder can also be inserted into
the milling machine before loading it (see
page 14).
▷ Insert the standard tools into the blank holder
for glass ceramic blanks. Position the tool shank
facing toward the outside.
▪ Set 1.8 cutter to position 1.
▪ Set 1.4 cutter to position 2.
▪ Set 1.0 cutter to position 3.

▷ Optional: Insert the sister grinding tools into the
blank holder for glass ceramic blanks. Position
the tool shank facing toward the outside.
