When changing the tool and fitting accessories, always pull out the mains plug
Attention:
in order to avoid accidents.
Always read the operation manual before using the device for the first time!
Milling Cutters
The unit is designed so that milling cutters conforming to DIN 6527 with a length of 85 mm and Ø 12 mm can be
used.
Select the appropriate milling cutter on the basis of the material being worked. See our range.
Use only solid-carbide milling cutters Ultra-fine-grain in premium quality. HSS-milling cutters are not appropriate.
Tip for use:
Shaft milling cutters of Ø 12 mm are frequently used in machine tools in many companies. This type of milling
cutter is often only worn at the front and can still be used in our KFH 250 unit on the longitudinal side. You save on
high tool costs.

3) Remove the drive motor. When doing this, do not tilt or use force.
4) Lock the milling spindle with an open-ended spanner and at the same time loosen the clamping nut with the
other open-ended spanner.
5) Remove the carbide milling tip. Caution: Risk of injury on the milling cutter cutting edges!
6) Insert a new milling tip – pay attention to the clamping length, see figure.
7) Tighten the clamping nut moderately.
8) Push the motor back into the cleaned retaining hole as far as it will go. Do not tilt.
9) Tighten the clamping screw moderately with the clamping screw.
