Adjustment
The maxDETAIL is designed for a distance
of about 40 cm and offers a dioptre ad-
justment (option for correcting defective
Vision) of -3.00 dpt to +3.00 dpt. It can be
adjusted for each eye individually. You can
also use the dioptre adjustment to vary
the glasses slightly to various distances.
Sit at the appropriate application distance
and put on the maxDETAIL.
Keep your left eye closed and turn the
knurled ring q until your right eye can
see in Sharp focus. Do the same with the
other eye.
Notes
Under the following circumstances, it
might not be possible to see the image
perfectly:
– A very small or very large pupil spacing
(eye spacing) can reduce the perfor-
mance quality, because the image is
not viewed through the optical zones
of the maxDETAIL anymore.
– If you normally have glasses with
dioptres of less than -3.00 dioptres or
greater than +3.00 dioptres, the dioptre
adjustment feature of the maxDETAIL
cannot entirely compensate the defec-
tive Vision.
– If you usually wear glasses with
cylindrical lenses (e. g. for astigmatism),
it might not be possible to achieve
perfect focus. This depends on the
strength of the cylinder.

Care instructions

maxDETAIL is a high-quality, techno-
logically advanced, complex optical aid
and needs to be handled and cared for
accordingly. For protection of the lenses
against dust and external influences, we
recommend that you store it in the case
included.
z Do not use alcohol or organic sol-
vents to clean the maxDETAIL.
z Do not clean the maxDETAIL in an
ultrasonic bath!
Clean the maxDETAIL with a soft cotton
or linen doth (such as deaning cloths for
eye-glasses). Moisten the deaning doth to
re-move more persistent stains (e.g. finger
prints).
