CHAPTER: USE
LOADING PRODUCTS
Switch the cabinet on using the wall cutoff switch. As soon as the cabinet is on it will start its cooling
cycle. Allow about two hours before loading any products, which must already be at their preser-
vation temperature. THE CABINET IS FACTORY-SET FOR THE ANTICIPATED PERFORMANCE.
When loading products make certain that:
- they are similar in size and type;
- they do not obstruct the flow of refrigerated air.
When loading the cabinet consider the following load limits:
- base deck (all versions): 200 kg/m2
- shelf - SV version: 135 kg/m2
- service counter: 35 kg
NOTE: for full-l l oad SV versions (base deck+shelf), the use of stationary feet is recommended.
The cabinet was only designed and constructed for the display of fresh foods like fruits and vegeta-
bles, dairies, drinks and packaged meat (class 3M2). Its function is preserving food temperature, not
lowering it. Therefore, when loaded, the foods must already be at their preservation temperature.
This is why foods that have been overheated must never be introduced in the cabinet.
DEFROSTING
The number and duration of defrosts are factory-set. Defrost adjustment is reserved for the techni-
cal after-sales service.
Defrost-water is collected by a drain tube and conveyed to an evaporation tray located in the base
of the cabinet. Periodically check that defrost water flows off normally. Otherwise, stick a blunt flex-
ible probe inside the drain to unclog it.
