Function description

The Dräger X-act 5000 is an automatic pump. It is used with tubes or
sample-taking tubes and systems. The pump control provides the
required flow characteristics of the tubes. Tubes are used to determine
gases, vapors, and aerosols in air or technical gases. Sample-taking
tubes and systems are used for the active sampling of volatile organic
substances in the air at workplaces, indoor air, and environmental
areas.
The Dräger X-act 5000 is protected against the effects of common
workplace solvents.
The instrument is equipped with an SO
exhaust gas, which can occur with some tubes during the
measurement.
The Dräger X-act 5000 has a bar code laser that is classified as a
Class 3R device in accordance with the requirements of IEC 60825-1.
Operation of the Dräger X-act 5000 is menu-driven. The following
operating modes are available:
Measurements using tubes
Air measurements

Sample taking
The user selects the operating mode at the beginning of the
measurement. For the short-term tube mode, tubes or simultaneous
