Removing the Caps
Remove the caps as shown.
Attaching the Hood
When attached, lens hoods reduce glare
and protect the front lens element.
• Loosen the hood lock
knob by rotating it
counterclockwise.
• Slide the hood onto
the lens until it con-
tacts the raised ridge.
• Tighten the lock knob.
