Instructions for use
When he is awake, baby should not be swaddled so that he can learn to play with his hands.
The Miracle Blanket™ is for back sleeping only, do not position baby on his side or on his tummy.
1 -
Spread The Miracle Blanket™ out on a flat surface with the
foot pouch at the bottom. Lie baby down between the armflaps
making sure that the blanket is slightly below the top of his
shoulders. It should not be touching his cheeks. It is normal for
baby to fuss when swaddled the first few times.
2 -
Fold the armflaps, one after the other, over baby's arms and
tuck them loosely under his back. Leave a little room for his
arms to wriggle.
IMPORTANT: Gently lift baby's bottom up to check that the
flaps are lying flat under his back.
3a -
Pull the foot pouch up over baby's legs. If your baby's feet
do not yet reach the pouch please follow 3b.
3b -
For smaller babies: after steps 1 and 2, fold the foot pouch
back up over baby until the blanket touches his feet. Then
follow steps 4 and 5. This will create a swaddle which will fit him
perfectly.
4 -
Wrap the short side of The Miracle Blanket™ across baby's
tummy and tuck it between his side and his arm then wrap it
under his back.
5 -
Wrap the long side of The Miracle Blanket™ over baby's
tummy and all around him until you run out of blanket. It is
important to pull the last layer snug.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the top of the blanket is slightly
below the top of baby's shoulders.
6 -
If baby's room is very warm, he can be swaddled with his
legs lying on top of The Miracle Blanket™ pouch. He does not
need to wear clothes, just his nappy.
