3 Safety instructions

3.1

Safety aspects

Safe execution of the procedures in this manual requires technical experience and a general knowledge
of safety precautions as well as a general knowledge of the human locomotor system.
Warnings, Cautions and Notes have been used throughout the manual to bring special matters to the
reader's immediate attention.
A Warning concerns danger to the safety of the user or technician;
A Caution concerns an act that might damage the equipment;
A Note highlights a statement that deserves more emphasis than the general text, but which
does not merit a Warning or a Caution.
It is important to follow the correct sequence of Crosswalkers in a procedure to ensure safe handling of
the equipment and the prevention of damage. Never, therefore, change the sequence of a procedure.
