B. Twin FingerGuard Basket:
The UC311 Twin FingerGuard Baskets provide you with
the versatility of cleaning either two (2) separate basket
loads of instruments or a basket and beaker combination
for prostheses cleaning (or other small items). Each Twin
FingerGuard Basket comes with two (2) basket section
inserts.
Use Directions:
Place Twin FingerGuard Baskets side by side (Fig. 6 & 7),
or use one basket with beaker holder. Twin FingerGuard
Baskets may be used with or without basket section
inserts. Place instruments across ridges in bottom of bas-
ket. Place basket in tank and clean for desired time.
C. Basket Section Inserts:
The UC335 basket section inserts keep instruments sep-
arated by user and procedure, eliminating sorting. This
increases efficiency and reduces the potential for acciden-
tal sticks and cuts since instruments are pre-sorted and
handled less.
Use Directions:
Place locking tabs of adjustable basket section inserts into
basket holes (Fig. 8). Inserts can be placed at any desired
width along the basket. Place as many basket section
inserts as required for your cleaning needs. To remove or
adjust position, simply squeeze center tabs to unlock sec-
tion insert from basket holes.
D. Beaker Holder:
Place the UC330 Beaker Holder on bezel. Place beaker position-
ing rings around the beaker so that at least 2/3 of the beaker is
suspended in the main bath. Clean for desired time.
E. Cassette Basket:
The UC325 instrument cassette basket may be used to hold
up to 3 Large or 6 small standard Hu-Friedy IMS cassettes.
Use Directions:
Place the filled basket (Fig 9) into the tank containing either
Biosonic General Purpose Cleaner, Biosonic Enzimatic Cleaner
or Biosonic Germicidal Cleaner (Fig. 10). Once the cassettes
are cleaned, remove the basket from the tank and tilt back
over the tank to drain. After cleaning rinse the basket and
instruments thouroughly under running water. After rinsing
the basket may be placed on the draining tabs on the bezel
for proper draining. (See intrument draining section for details.
Section Insert Support Installation Instructions: Place
the section insert supports in your desired location along the
raised ridge in the bottom of the UC310 Large FingerGuard
Instrument Basket or UC311 Twin FingerGuard Basket. The
section insert supports are inserted into the holes along the
top of the raised ridge with the tapered end facing upward
toward the top of the supports. Position the supports at
equal distance from either end of the basket, along the raised
ridge, to allow the basket section insert to rest squarely in the
basket. Slide basket insert into the slots of the section insert
supports.
