trapped, kinked or twisted. Keep the hairdryer and mains lead away
from heat, oil and sharp edges. If the mains cable is damaged or
severed, do not touch it, and disconnect the mains plug from the
mains socket immediately. Damaged or tangled cables increase the
risk of an electric shock.

the air outlet opening. There is a fire hazard.

Keep metal objects (i.e. jewellery) away from the air inlet openings,
to prevent them from being drawn into the hairdryer. There is a risk
of electric shock. Allow the styling nozzle to firstly cool down before
removing them. Do not use extension cables in the bathroom so
the plug can be quickly reached in the event of an emergency. If
the hairdryer is being used in a bathroom, the mains plug should be
pulled out after use, since the proximity of water presents a

danger even if the hairdryer is switched off.

WARNING: Never immerse the hairdryer in water.

Do not take hold of the appliance if it has fallen into water and is
still connected to the mains socket. Pull out the mains plug from
the socket immediately. As an additional level of protection, it is
recommended that you install an RCD (Residual Current Device).
The dimensioned trip current must not amount to more than 30 mA
in the circuit of the bathroom. Ask your installer or a local electrician
for further advice. Only connect the hair dryer to a socket which has
the voltage as given on the type plate. Do not insert any objects
into the inside of the casing. Never open the hairdryer and do not
attempt to repair the hairdryer yourself. Any modifications will void
