INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Take the following steps to install this product:
1. Before turning on connect all inputs and outputs, ensuring power is connected last.
If using in ceiling-amplifier configuration note that if the amplifier is turned off mains
power will still be passed through to the projector via the power output.
The AV-1500 can power two pairs of speakers if required. If the speaker cable provided
needs to be extended, ensure you use unshielded speaker cable with a gauge of no less
than 0.75mm.
NOTE I: THE WARRANTY WILL BE VOID IF YOU USE UNSUITABLE SHIELDED CABLE.
NOTE II: THIS IS A LOW-IMPEDANCE DIGITAL AMPLIFIER. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CONNECT 100V LINE SPEAkERS (Normally any speakers with "t" in their part code).
2. Touch the "Power On" touch-switch on the front panel. Select Input and adjust volume
as required.
Should the system become overloaded it will automatically shut down to protect itself.
In this case return operating conditions to safe levels and restart the amplifier.
USING THE MICROPHONE INPUT
1. The microphone input provides "Phantom Power" (24v) for condenser microphones
such as lectern or boundary (PZM) microphones.
IMPORTANT: ENSURE THE MICROPHONE VOLUME IS AT MINIMUM WHEN
UNPLUGGING OR PLUGGING IN MICROPHONES.
2. The microphone volume can be adjusted independently of the line-level inputs.
3. keep microphones away from loudspeakers to avoid feedback.
