2 General safety instructions

CAUTION!
Risk of Injury
Never use the E-MAG Control knee joint if there is a malfunction.
Please contact your specialist workshop immediately.

Do not use the E-MAG Control if the cable or casing is visibly damaged.
Please contact your specialist workshop immediately.
CAUTION!
Proximity to strong electromagnetic fields may disrupt functioning of the E-MAG
Control knee joint.
Avoid direct proximity to power transformers and radio transmitters.
WARNING!
Water will destroy the E-MAG Control!
Do not wear your orthosis while taking a shower, bathing, or swimming, and do
not stay in environments with high humidity with your orthosis.
WARNING!
Solid particles and fluid in the joint, lock or electronics of the E-MAG Control may
lead to malfunctioning.
Do not expose the components to excessive smoke or dust in the environment,
mechanical vibrations or shocks.
WARNING!
Disruption of signal transmission is possible.
Avoid temperatures below -10° C and above 55° C.
The E-MAG emits electromagnetic energy when activated and must therefore not
be used in potentially explosive areas!
