In the case of a failure, the E-MAG knee joint can only be opened manually.

5.3 Opening the lock

The E-MAG Control can be opened either with the remote control or with the direct start button
at the electronic control unit. In both cases, the system will issue a response. Depending on
which response profile is selected, the system will issue the following responses when opening
the lock.
