5 Operation
This section describes the possible signal combinations of the response system, how to open
the lock, close the lock, and how to switch between response profiles.
5.1 Possible signal combinations
The E-MAG Control features a system which informs patients of a change of their lock status.
This section features both response profiles and the possible signal combinations they may com-
municate during use of an E-MAG Control.
The Blue Profile uses visual, acoustic and haptic status and warning signals. These signals are
generally well perceivable in a normal environment even with elevated background noise.
