Cleaning and maintenance
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the carpet cleaner is turned OFF and UNPLUGGED before
cleaning or attempting to store the item. NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR in water
or any other liquid. NEVER operate the carpet cleaner without the water tanks
and filters in place.
DO NOT use any abrasive cleaners to clean any part of the carpet cleaner.
1. When finished cleaning your carpet, turn off the unit and unplug it before
removing the clean and dirty water tanks.
2. Rinse the water tanks with warm water and allow them to dry thoroughly
before storage.
3. Remove exhaust filter housing from the dirty water tank. (see step 1)
4. Pull out the filter and rinse it with warm water. (see step 2)
Allow it to dry thoroughly before replacing it into the filter housing.
5. After replacing the filter, put the exhaust filter housing back into the dirty
water tank.
6. With the dirty water tank still removed, pull out the motor filter and rinse it with
warm water.
Allow the filter to dry thoroughly before replacing it and put the dirty water tank
back into the carpet cleaner.
7. Use a damp soft cloth to wipe off the carpet cleaner and accessories. Allow all
parts dry completely before storing.
8. All tanks and filters should be dried thoroughly before storing the carpet cleaner.
