Congratulations on choosing an internal skimmer for aquariums, BLUSKIMMER, designed by Ferplast to give
you great satisfaction and ensure full respect for the life and health of fish and invertebrates. Installing and
managing it will be very easy, allowing you to keep your marine aquarium perfectly efficient, thanks to the
innovative technical solutions that allow the formation of a dense, dry foam that can retain the dirt and easily
remove it from the aquarium.
BLUSKIMMER is supplied with all the parts and accessories needed for it to function at its best. The integrated
pump is homologated and conforms to all the relative international safety standards (EN60335-2-41).
Warnings
Before carrying out any operation, please read the information below carefully
to protect your safety and to prevent damage to the product:
• Ensure that the voltage indicated on the pump corresponds to the power supply
voltage;
• Ensure that your home is protected by differential safety switch with a tripping
current of no more than 30mA;
• Do not connect the skimmer to the mains before completing the installation
operations (including filling of the tank);
• This appliance is intended for indoor use;
• Disconnect the product from the mains before carrying out any maintenance
operations;
• Ensure that the water level is always close to the recommended level indicated on
the product;
• Connect the plugs to the mains, leaving a bend in the cable that is lower than the
outlet to prevent drops of water from reaching the mains (Fig. 1);
• The pump's power cable cannot be repaired or replaced. If damaged, have the
entire device replaced;
• This product is not suitable for children or disabled people to use without
supervision.
