POSSIBLE CAUSE
Unit operating in damp or humid conditions
Restricted air intake filter
Pump oil is low
18 Detergent type oil being used in pump
19 MOtor overload protection switch has tripped
2o Extension cord is wrong length or gauge
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Move unit to a dry well ventilated area
clean or repiace air intake filter
Add SAE 40, non-detergent air compressor oil to pump. See
Compressor Pump Oil under Maintenance.
C0ntact a DEWALT fact0ry Service Center or a DEWALT
authorized service center:
Drain oil and refill pump with SAE 40, non-detergent air
compressor oil.
