Perimeter wire joint
Important
In the case of underground wire
as well as of ground laid wire, if
necessary, properly join it with
some other wire, having the
same features (see figure).
During the joint stage, it is rec-
ommended to use self-amalga-
mating tape (for example: 3M
Scotch 23). Do not use isolating
tape or other types of joints (ter-
minals, clamps, etc.).
POWER SUPPLY-TRANSMITTER UNIT INSTALLATION
1-Installation of the power sup-
ply-transmitter unit (A-B).
Important
The power supply unit varies ac-
cording to the type of batteries in-
stalled (lead or lithium batteries).
2-Operate on the cursor (C) to
select the power supply voltage
(110 V or 220 V).
3-Press the button (F) of the
power supply unit on OFF.
4-Connect the plug of the power
supply unit (A) to the power
socket.
5-Twist the final part of the pe-
rimeter wire (about 1÷2 m)
and connect the two ends to
the terminal board (E).
6-Press the button (F) of the power
supply unit on ON.
7-If the led (G) turns on and the led (D)
flashes alternately green and orange,
the connection is correct. Otherwise,
it is necessary to find the defect (see
"Troubleshooting")

Important
In order for the robot not to capture
the signal of the two wires that must
be connected to the transmitter, it is
necessary to twist them together (see
figure).
