Operation
1. Place the scale on a solid, level surface.
2. Gently step onto the scale and the unit will
automatically turn on. Once a steady
reading is taken, the display will lock and
flash to indicate the final weight.
3. The scale will automatically switch off
approximately in 8 seconds when no
operation.
Warning indicators
Err. Overload. Remove weight immediately
LO: Battery failure: replace it.
If the "C" symbol is shown on the display as you step off the scale, it indicates that
an error has occurred. Please step back to weight again.

To install or replace battery
The scale needs 2 batteries type AAA

To install the batteries, open the battery case cover at the bottom of the scale and
•
insert the new ones.
To replace them, open the battery, take out the used batteries and, finally, install new
•
batteries.
Batteries should be removed and replaced by adults only.

Care and maintenance
Do not put heavy things on the scale when not use.
•
Do not overload otherwise the sensor may damage.
•
Treat the scale with care as it is a highly precise electronic instrument.
•
Keep the scale surface dry and do not use it on slippery floor.
•
Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE),
requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal
unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to
optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on
human health and the environment. The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product
reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately
collected. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning
the correct disposal of their old appliance.
