4 . MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Your sowing control console is above all an electronic device, which needs to be treated with care. When sowing is
completed, it must be stored in a dry place.
If the cells are dirty, they should be cleaned with a soft brush.
Symptoms
The console does not
switch on.
Lack of grains alarm
on one row.
Lack of fertilizer on a
row alarm.
No
forward
speed
alarm.
Working

high alarm.
Disconnect the console power supply before performing any welding operation on the tractor or the seeder to
prevent the system from being damaged.
Probable cause
-The fuse on the console supply
harness has blown.
-Bad battery connection.
-Battery voltage too low.
-Battery polarity reversed.
-Faulty console.
-The number of rows programmed
exceeds the number of rows on
the seeder.
-The grain hopper is empty.
-The seeder element sensor is
dirty.
-Faulty sensor or harness.
-The number of fertilizer rows
programmed exceeds the number
of fertilizer sensors on the seeder.
-The fertilizer does not flow in the
dispensing hoses.
-Faulty sensor or harness.
-Faulty speed sensor
-Faulty console

-Check the fuse. If blown, replace it by a new 5A (five Ampere)
fuse.
If it blows again, check that the harness is neither cut nor damaged,
otherwise call our after-sales department.
-Check that the lugs are clean and crimped properly.
-Check that the battery voltage is at least 10 volts. Otherwise,
recharge or replace the battery.
-Connect the wires to the battery properly.
-Contact our after-sales department.
-Program a number of rows equal to the number of rows of the
seeder on the CS30.
-Fill the hopper of the seeder element concerned with grains.
-Clean the sensor with a flexible brush.
-Swap the connection of the faulty sensor with a neighbouring
functional sensor and check whether the problem is displaced
or not. If the problem has been displaced, the sensor is faulty.
Otherwise, check that the harness is not damaged.
- Program a number of fertilizer sensors equal to the number of
fertilizer sensors of the seeder on the CS30.
-Check that the fertilizer tank is not empty and the hoses concerned
are not clogged.
-Swap the connection of the faulty sensor with a neighbouring
functional sensor and check whether the problem is displaced
or not. If the problem has been displaced, the sensor is faulty.
Otherwise, check that the harness is not damaged.
- No speed signal arrives at the console although at least one
sensor detects grains passing. Check the speed sensor and its
wiring
