Adjusting the Cutter

If the moving cutter does not travel high enough to make a complete cut, you can adjust
the cutter cam to allow maximum movement. See Figure N.
1. Turn the power switch off and unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the left cover plate.
3. Loosen the pivot screw on the cutter operating link. See Figure N.
4. Rotate the bushing clockwise until the end of the moving cutter is overlapping the
stationary cutter by 1/16" (1.6 mm).
5. Hold the cutter in this position and tighten the pivot screw.
6. Test the cutter operating cam by cutting a piece of tape.
Note: The cutter tension is preset at the factory and does not need to be adjusted.
