Bewados E mineral substance metering units can
be installed in horizontal and vertical water pipes.
Leave sufficient space for replacing the container
when installing the Bewados
pact unit (see Fig. 3).
It is advisable to install shut-off valves immediately
up- and downstream of the unit. A 50cm inspec-
tion pipe should be installed horizontally in the cold
water pipe and in the hot water pipe for checking
the efficacy of metering. The pipes should be made
of the same material and have the same dimen-
sions as the water pipe, be easy to change, and
be situated at least 2m away from the injection
point.
Note DIN 1988 part 4 when metering Quantophos
Cu2.
Quantophos Cu2 can only be metered in water
up to a limit value of 25 mg/l free carbon dioxide
(base capacity up to pH 8.2 = 0.6mol/m
Note: If water is needed for filling a swimming pool,
it must be taken upstream from the injection point.
The water pipeline upstream from the metering unit
must be flushed thoroughly before installing

Installation
Connect the unit to the HydroModul system or a
separate connection module as follows:
1. Turn the blue retaining ring to the left limit stop.
