It is also possible to optimise the combustion by adjusting
the draft of the flue by acting on the smoke valve (Fig.
7.5b).
During operation, the temperature of the log may be high:
use the glove, supplied as standard, to move them in
order to avoid burns.

Use of the oven (stove Stuba v2 with
oven)

Bring the stove to rate, turning it on at least 1 hour
before starting to cook.
•
In order to maintain the temperature in the oven
constant, it is recommended to fuel the stove with
moderation. In some cases, it can be useful to act
on the smoke valve in such a way to eliminate the
draught of the chimney.
•
Insert the food only after checking that the oven
temperature remains stable on the desired value.
•
The oven thermometer indicates the temperature, so
it is recommended to periodically check the cooking
process of the food.
•
In order to avoid heat losses inside the oven, open
the door as less as possible.
